Lynn has worked in construction for over 30 years - with a solid background in all phases of construction. He began as a mason, and then worked as a framer and roofer in the Buffalo, New York area. Lynn then went to work for a steel erection contractor and became a crew foreman, working on jobs in Western New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Looking for a change in scenery, (and temperature), Lynn and his wife Jerilee moved to Arizona in 1986 to start their own business. Weatherguard Exteriors was formed in 1987, specializing in residential improvements. In 1990 Lynn and Jerilee incorporated the business, renaming it Weatherguard Metal Construction, Inc., and included commercial and industrial offerings. Lynn has diligently built Weatherguard into a profitable and well-respected business in the community, currently employing and training more than 30 employees to give quality service and installation.

Jerilee G. Mattingly

Jerilee's career began in commercial art. She earned an Associates Degree in Commercial Art from Bryant & Stratton Business Institute in Buffalo, New York. She then worked for print shops in the area in their art and layout departments. In the early 80's Jerilee worked in the "in-house" art department at Service Systems Corp., a national food service/building maintenance company. She then seized an opportunity to work in sales for a local computer store. Apple computer rolled out the Macintosh personal computer during that time. Jerilee was then hooked on computers and won several sales awards. In 1986 Jerilee and Lynn finished remodeling an old Victorian house in Hamburg, New York, and decided it was time for a change. They sold the house and moved to Arizona to start their own business. Jerilee has been the office manager/accountant from the beginning.
 

Office Manager, Contracts, HR
Avis Richardson

Avis spent 20+ years following a Navy husband around the world and working various office jobs (Travel Guide for a small agency in Rota, Spain, Travel Agent for American Express in Dunoon, Scotland, Fiscal Assistant for Virginia Beach Child Support). She feels fortunate to have found a home at Weatherguard as Office Manager since 1999. Avis's tasks are varied, but she completes each quite expertly.

Janis Farley

Janis moved to Sierra Vista from Dixon, Illinois in August 2007 (to be near her four grandchildren).  She worked for General Electric in DeKalb, Illinois for 22 years before coming to Sierra Vista.

Michael D. Anderson

Mike has 16+ years experience in the construction sales and estimating field. He has supervised a sheet metal shop (fabricating custom flashings and trims) and worked in sales for industrial supply and construction suppliers. Mike has been with Weatherguard since 2001.

Lyle Roys

 Lyle has been active in the construction industry for 43 years, as a metal building and metal roofing estimator, utilizing his expertise at Weatherguard since 1996. Lyle currently specializes in metal buildings. When he's not busy at his estimating tasks, you'll find him in his workshop building toys for grandchildren and friends. The other "old timer" in the downstairs sales office, Lyle has seen it all, and probably built it too!!

Martin Schloemer

 Marty has over 30 years experience in the sheet metal industry and over 10 years experience in sales. He brings a vast knowledge of construction to our team. He has been a valuable addition to our outside sales staff since 2004.

Superintendent
Rick Bond

Prior to signing on with Weatherguard in 1997 as a general Superintendent, Rick worked as a superintendent for a general contractor for 13 years - in charge of commercial jobs. Rick is a tireless employee and takes customer satisfaction very seriously. He has worked in construction since 1970, and has a wide range of knowledge that benefits company and client alike. Rick is also our designated safety officer, and conducts safetybriefings and training for the crews.

Wes Shepherd

Wes has worked for Weatherguard since 1998. He started as an installer, and quickly moved up in the ranks due to his work ethic and perseverance. Wes was promoted to superintendent early in 2002. Prior to this, he worked for 13 years in the construction industry and retail businesses. Wes has been a valuable addition to Weatherguard's field management team.

Metal Shop Foreman
Daniel Hartman

 Dan is the metal shop foreman, starting in 2001 as a shop helper. Daniel quickly showed his abilities, learning fast and organizing the metal fabrication shop into a well-oiled machine. Every custom flashing & trim coming out of our Trim Shop has Dan's special touch.

Fleet Mechanic
Delbert Walker

Del has been the fleet mechanic since 1998, bringing with him a long history of experience in truck and car repair (including being a shop teacher at the high school level). He keeps the fleet of Weatherguard trucks running in top shape. Since Del has been on board, you very rarely hear the excuse that we can't get to your job due to a vehicle breakdown.
